Independent Director; Callon Petroleum + USA Truck
Major General (Retired) Barbara Faulkenberry leads the NACD Colorado Roundtable Committee on the Chapter's Board. She serves as an independent director on two public company boards: Callon Petroleum (NYSE: CPE), where she serves on the Audit, Nomination/Governance, and Strategic Planning/Reserves Committees; and USA Truck Inc. (NASDAQ: USAK), where she leads the Technology Committee and serves on the Nomination/Governance Committee. Faulkenberry retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2014 as the Vice Commander, 18th Air Force, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, where she had responsibility for the command's 1,100 aircraft and 37,000 people with a worldwide mission of providing rapid global mobility for U.S. armed forces through airlift, aerial refueling, and aeromedical evacuation. Faulkenberry holds the NACD/Carnegie Mellon University Cybersecurity Oversight Certificate and is an NACD Leadership Fellow. She is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy with an undergraduate degree in Operations Research, and she holds an MBA from Georgia College and a Master's of National Security from the National War College. She's also taken leadership courses at Syracuse, Harvard, and Cambridge.
Mr. Hanson is Head of Houlihan Lokey’s Oil & Gas Group and Co-Head of the Energy Group.
During his career, Mr. Hanson has worked on numerous financing, M&A/A&D, valuation, and financial
recapitalization/restructuring engagements. In addition to domestic U.S. transactions, he has been
involved in transactions for several Latin American-, European-, and South African-based companies,
advising companies and stakeholders regarding the structuring, negotiation, and implementation of a
wide variety of corporate finance transactions in the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors of
the oil & gas industry, including financings, M&A/A&D transactions, exchange offers, and
reorganizations in applicable local jurisdictions.
Mr. Crowley is a member of Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group and
Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Group.
During his career, Mr. Crowley has worked on restructuring, financing, and M&A
engagements in a variety of industries, with a specific focus on upstream oil & gas.
He has advised a wide range of constituents, including companies, boards of
directors, and debt and equity investors.
Mr. Teigman is a member of Houlihan Lokey’s Oil & Gas coverage team as well
as the firm’s Financial Advisory Services business. He co-leads our Energy
Valuation & Diligence practice where he focuses on transaction opinions and
assisting boards of directors, special committees, and other constituents in
evaluating proposals and understanding critical transaction issues.
Mr. Teigman has more than a decade of experience analyzing complex
transactions, including conflict-prone situations involving issues of corporate
governance. He has played an integral role in the rendering of numerous
transaction opinions related to mergers & acquisitions, restructurings,
recapitalizations, spinoffs, and asset sales.
Mr. Chastaine is a member of Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Advisory Services
business, where he is active in the Transaction Opinion practice.
Mr. Chastaine is responsible for M&A advisory, special committee representation,
providing fairness and solvency opinions, and valuing public and private securities
and closely held companies. His clients include Fortune 50 corporations, middlemarket public and private companies, family-owned businesses, and start-up
ventures, and are spread across a variety of industries.
