Mark is a Managing Director at Endeavour Capital, a private equity firm with offices in Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles and Denver. Endeavour was founded in 1991 to serve as a long-term capital partner to leading companies in the Western United States. Endeavour is currently investing its seventh equity fund and has approximately $2.25 billion in assets under management.
Mark currently serves on the boards of Alpha Media, Arizona Nutritional Supplements, Grant Victor, Providien Medical, Equality Health, ZOOM+, and Nordic Ice. He is also a Life Trustee at Lewis & Clark College, a National Council Member of the American Enterprise Institute, and an Executive Board Member of the Boy Scouts of America, Denver Area Council. Mark received a B.S. from Lewis and Clark College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He is married with three grown children.
Gregg founded Capitol Peak Partners in August 2017. Prior to Capitol Peak, Gregg was the Chairman & CEO of WhiteWave, a high-growth food and beverage company with sales of $4BN+ across four branded platforms: Plant-Based Foods & Beverages (Silk, Alpro, So Delicious and Vega), Premium Dairy (Horizon and Wallaby), Coffee Creamers & Beverages (International Delight) and Fresh Foods (Earthbound). Gregg sold WhiteWave to Danone for $12.5BN in April 2017. Prior to WhiteWave, Gregg was the Chairman & CEO of Dean Foods, the largest processor and distributor of fluid milk in the United States and the former parent company of WhiteWave. Gregg built Dean Foods through more than 100 transactions over 25 years beginning with the acquisition of Reddy Ice from Southland Corporation in 1988 for approximately $25MM. He began his business career in Dallas after serving as a clerk for Judge Anthony M. Kennedy on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Gregg received his BA from Dartmouth College and a JD from Yale Law School.
Gregg currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Dartmouth College, the Board of Directors of Danone, S.A. (ENXTPA.BN), and the Board of Liberty Expedia Holdings (NASDAQ: LEXEA). He previously served on the Boards of TreeHouse Foods (NYSE:THS), the Grocery Manufacturers Association, The Hockaday School, the Southwestern Medical Foundation, the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and as the Chairman of the Tate Lecture Series at SMU. Gregg was also formerly a member of the Yale Law School Association, the Young Presidents’ Organization, the Dallas Citizens Council, and the International Dairy Foods Association.
David Terry is a partner in the Transaction Services practice of Moss Adams. David brings over 20 years of public accounting and consulting experience with a focus on transaction services. Prior to joining Moss Adams, David was a Managing Director in Grant Thornton’s transaction services practice based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Prior to Grant Thornton, David was a Partner in the transaction services practice at Deloitte and led the practice in Deloitte’s Minneapolis office. David has provided transaction advisory services to some of the largest private equity firms and multinational corporations both domestically and internationally in the financial services, healthcare, consumer products, automotive, telecommunications, consulting services, technology, transportation and manufacturing industries. David has advised on a number of different types of transactions, including standalone platforms; carve-out of business segments, restructurings; mergers and industry consolidations.
David’s private equity experience includes working on due diligence engagements for Bertram Capital, Vista Equity Partners, The Riverside Company, TPG Capital and Linsalata Capital Partners among others. Representative corporate clients that David has served include Digital River, Universal Hospital Services, Best Buy, Inc., UnitedHealth Group, Nash Finch Company and Newell Rubbermaid
Jon is a Vice President and Senior Wealth Director for BNY Mellon Wealth Management in the Rocky Mountain Region. As a Senior Director he is responsible for strategic development of client relationships and professional alliances in the communities we serve. Underkofler has over 20 years of banking, investment management, and financial planning experience, as well as, professional expertise in financial, estate, retirement, and charitable planning. He joined BNY Mellon from Waddell and Reed, where he was responsible for the overall wealth management strategy, including new business and relationship development of his clientele nationwide. Prior to that he held positions with Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, and Citigroup Smith Barney working in banking and financial advisory roles respectively.
Underkofler attended Arizona State University studying Economics and then went on to further his education at Northwestern University for a Master’s in Finance at Kellogg. In addition, he attended the College for Financial Planning to receive designations as a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor and as an Accredited Asset Management Specialist.
Jon has built his career helping business owners and corporate executives through various M&A endeavors and leads the National M&A Practice Group in the Rocky Mountain Region for BNY Mellon. Through his work with our clients, Jon has been recognized and developed a special interest in philanthropic giving strategies. He is an avid supporter of many non profit organizations throughout the local Denver community and also an advisor to several national foundations and endowments.
Jon and his wife along with their children live locally in Highlands Ranch Colorado where they enjoy boating, skiing, hiking, and biking, making Colorado a perfect fit for the quality of life they desired both personally and professionally
