High Functioning Boards: A Look Forward and a Look Back

Classroom
February 21, 2018
Denver, CO

Overview

Registration is now closed for this event.

During this fascinating panel, we'll learn from two deeply experienced directors from right here in Colorado: Steve Reinemund and Denise O'Leary. They will provide insights into how their Boards successfully navigated both the issues arising from the Great Recession, and those that came with the economic rebound over the past decade. They’ll cast their eyes forward, offering their views on the critical issues looming on the horizon for directors in a variety of industries. And our panelists will speak about how their corporate board experiences have informed their work serving on large non-profit Boards.

Mr. Reinemund is the former CEO and Chairman of Pepsico, and currently serves on the Boards of ExxonMobil, Marriott International, and Wal-Mart. Ms. O'Leary currently serves on the Boards of Medtronic, US Airways, and Calpine Energy, following her earlier role as a General Partner at Menlo Ventures. And moderating this high-powered fireside chat will be Barbara Baumann, President of Cross Creek Energy Corporation, and NACD Colorado Board Member.
